Mikumi Day Trip Safari from Flying from Zanzibar

The day begins early, with pick-up from your hotel in Zanzibar around 5:00 AM. Transferred to Zanzibar Airport for your scheduled flight to Mikumi National Park. Upon arrival at the Mikumi Airstrip, be greeted by your guide and taken on a morning game drive. Mikumi is known for its impressive wildlife, including elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras, and buffaloes, as well as a variety of antelopes and over 400 bird species. The park’s open plains, acacia woodlands, and grasslands provide excellent opportunities for wildlife sightings, particularly around the Mkata River. After a thrilling morning safari, enjoy a picnic lunch within the park, with the backdrop of the park’s natural beauty. After lunch, head out for another game drive in the afternoon. This is a great opportunity to catch a glimpse of wildlife that may be more active in the cooler part of the day. After the afternoon game drive, return to the airstrip to catch your flight back to Zanzibar. Arrive in Zanzibar in the early evening around 5:30 PM to 6:00 and dropped back to Hotel
