4 Days Mikumi and Udzungwa Safari

After breakfast, depart for Udzungwa Mountains National Park, a haven for hikers and nature lovers, with a packed lunch in hand. The drive takes you through varied landscapes, offering glimpses of rural life. Arrive at Udzungwa and embark on a memorable trek to the stunning Sanje Falls. This hike rewards you with breathtaking views of the cascading falls and the lush, tropical rainforest that surrounds them. The trek also provides opportunities to discover unique plant species and potentially spot primates like the endangered Red Colobus monkey.  After the trek, return to Mikumi to Camp Bastian for overnight stay on a Full Board basis (Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner)

After an early breakfast, head out for a full-day game drive in Mikumi National Park. Your guide will take you to the park’s most game-rich areas, giving you the best opportunities to see wildlife in action. Expect to see large herds of elephants, buffaloes, as well as predators like lions and possibly leopards. Enjoy the park’s rich biodiversity as you drive through its savannah, wetlands, and woodlands. Enjoy the lunch in the Park. Continue exploring the park throughout the afternoon. Mikumi is famous for its open landscapes, which provide excellent visibility for spotting wildlife such as giraffes, wildebeests, and various bird species, including eagles and hornbills. Observe the wildlife at a safe distance while explaining the animals’ behaviors and the park’s ecology. After an exciting day of wildlife encounters, return to Camp Bastian for another night of rest and a hearty dinner. Overnight stay at Camp Bastian on Full Board Basis (Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner)

After breakfast, begin your drive back to Dar es Salaam, retracing your journey through the Tanzanian countryside. During the drive, enjoy the changing landscapes, and make stops for photos and to stretch. Hot lunch on the way, allowing for a relaxed break. Arrive back in Dar es Salaam, marking the end of your safari adventure
