Nyerere Day Trip Flying Safari from Zanzibar

The day begins early, with pick-up from your hotel in Zanzibar around 5:00 AM. Transferred to Zanzibar Airport for your scheduled flight to Mikumi National Park. The day begins early, with pick-up from your hotel in Zanzibar around 5:00 AM and transferred to Zanzibar Airport for your scheduled flight to Nyerere National Park at Mtemere Airstrip. Upon arrival at the airstrip, greeted by your guide for a short briefing about the park, highlighting the key areas and what you can expect during the game drive. Start your game drive in the park. Nyerere National Park is famous for its diverse wildlife, including lions, elephants, buffaloes, leopards, as well as hippopotamuses, crocodiles, giraffes, and a variety of bird species. Enjoy a picnic lunch at one of the designated scenic spots for a more relaxed meal in the park. After lunch, embark on another game drive, exploring different regions of the park. The Rufiji River is a great spot for wildlife sightings, as it attracts animals looking for water. The park is also home to a variety of landscapes, from open savannahs to lush woodlands. Depending on your timing, you may be able to visit some of the park’s waterholes, where animals congregate. After the afternoon game drive, you’ll return to the airstrip to catch your flight back to Zanzibar. Arrive in Zanzibar in the early evening around 5:30 PM to 6:00 and dropped at your Hotel
