My wife and I decided in March to take a trip to Tanzania. A safari tour was an absolute must. We got in touch with this company relatively early on and also compared their offer with others. Our contact person, Ahmed, was always available online and answered all our questions. Even though we sent 5–6 different inquiries (dates, locations, etc.), he patiently took all our wishes into account and put together a tour for us. When we arrived at the airport in Arusha, we were warmly welcomed by him and two guides. It was pure luxury that one guide was driving while the other focused entirely on the tour and sharing information. From the very first second, we felt comfortable in our safari vehicle, were able to ask dozens of questions, and had a lot of laughs. Every single request we had (for example, focusing on specific animals, getting local coffee, visiting a Maasai village, etc.) was fulfilled without exception. Mike, in particular, with his extensive knowledge and experience, made sure we felt safe while still experiencing so much. When we saw how many other guides knew him at rest stops and chatted with him, it became clear that he has been doing thisl for a long time. Every evening, Mike and Baraka (who had a very smooth driving style) accompanied us all the way to the reception of our hotel and picked us up again there the next morning. When our tour ended, we were taken back to the airport and received a gift from Ahmed, who was waiting for us there. 6 Days Incredible Amazing Safari
Six unforgettable days on a calving season safari in Ndutu, surrounded by endless herds of wildebeest, newborn calves, and powerful predator moments. From the giant elephants of Tarangire, across the vast plains of the iconic Serengeti, to the magical Ngorongoro Crater, every day felt like a dream. Maapeti Safari handled everything with care, professionalism, and deep local knowledge. This wasn’t our first safari with them — we traveled with Ahmed on 2019, and once again have delivered an experience that stayed with us long after the journey ended. A safari that touched the heart and reminded us why Tanzania is truly special. Highly recommended.
